Today, I wanted to share with you the other wedding card I did this month. This one was for Rachele & Dave's wedding on 06/28/2014.
On the front of this card, I used the same turquoise foil wrapping paper I used for wrapping their gift. The paper was bought at Hobby Lobby, as well as the red sparkly organza ribbon.
This beauty got a long white tulle veil attached to the back of her head with glue dots. I used my clear star gel pen to accent the lines in her skirt. For the glitter on her bodice, skirt bottom, and headband, I used some sheer glue from the rubber cafe, and the micro fine translucent glitter from Sparkle and Sprinkle.
I added bitty opaque pearls from Close To My Heart for earrings, necklace, and at the base of the bodice.
Her skin and hair were colored with Spectrum Noir markers, as well as the shadowing on the skirt.
I didn't think she needed anything else. :)
The lace, as well as the red and turquoise ribbons on the inside of the card were all from the wedding invitation. I liked the idea of using their own invitation as inspiration for their card.
The stamping on the inside was done with Memento ink and Stampin' Up stamps, then gone over with the clear star gel pen.
Here is the wrapped wedding gift. Turquoise foil paper with sparkly red organza ribbon, and the final element from their wedding invitation - the little rhinestone encrusted heart.
(On the invitation, the red and turquoise ribbons were through it.)
I hope you enjoy my posts. If so, please feel free to comment, share and pin. Have a great day, and thank you for stopping by!
Teri :)
