About time for another post! Things I've been working on since my last one...

Thanks for hanging in there with me!

I know I haven't been very consistent with the posts on my blog, but I am going to try to post at least once a week. I do appreciate you all hanging in there with me in the mean time.
These are several of the projects I have been working on since my last post. There is a description below each photo. I also made a slew of summer cards from a 6 x 6 paper pad, and my very first pocket letter, which will be separate posts made shortly.
I do hope you enjoy these...

This was a birthday gift for a very special little girl on her first birthday. Her birthday theme was Paris, and her room has this theme also. I wanted to make something special for her. I hope her mommy liked it when it arrived. I also made a matching card, but forgot to take pictures of that before I sent it.

This dress frame was made for a sweet friend at work who has a side business sewing beautiful items. She supplied the frame, and I thought this MME paper pad suited her quite well. (It is the same one I used on the Paris themed frame above.)

This card was made rather quickly for a mini contest on the Facebook group 'Scrapbooking With ME Boutique'...which I happened to win that night! :)
We were supposed to use 3 items that we had purchased from the boutique, and I ended up using 6.

This very 'frou-frou' purple dress was made by request for my friend, LaTisha, at work. Her favorite color, of course, is purple, and she wanted silver accents. There are several layers of tulle under the skirt, lace at the bust line, and complete with 'boa'. I've made most of these dresses to be put into 4 x 6 picture frames.

This extra long dress was made for miss Nicole, who site behind me at work. She is a stunning, tall beauty, and I thought she deserved a beautiful long sparkly gown.

This fun pink number was made for another of the girls who happens to sit behind me, Katie. Her favorite color is 'very pink'! (Her words to me.) I think this one has the most layers of tulle of any dress I've done, yet!

This cute cherry card is one I made for a set of cards for my friend, Diana, in California. I will be mailing them out for her very soon.

This cute summer card is also going to Diana in her set of cards. I really love the bright, fun colors of this Doodle Bug paper pad! :)

Speaking of Doodle Bug...here is the dress that I made for Tasha, another co-worker. She seems like such a fun girl, and that same 6 x 6 paper pad seemed to fit her well.

This sweet peach dress was made for Marlys, also another sweet friend at work. I like the lace at the bottom of this one. I colored white lace with Stampin' Up markers.

This fancy number was made for Julie. She is one of the most amazing women I have met so far, here in South Dakota. She is another one of my co-workers.  She asked for black and gold.

This full tea-length dress was made for another sweet friend at work, Kathy. She loves green. I really like the way it turned out!

This card was made for my friend Catherine's 5 year old grand daughter for her birthday. I did end up putting a "5" on one of the balloons. The stamp and paper are both Julie Nutting (Prima). I hand colored the skin with the Stampin' Up Blendabilities, and paper-pieced the rest. Of course, I added Wink of Stella - glitter clear - for some sparkle.

Finally, my punched and paper-pieced Minions...Stuart, Kevin, and Bob. (Yes, Bob has one green eye, and one brown eye...watch the Minion Movie.) Stuart was my first attempt using the Stampin' Up Owl punch.  Kevin is just a 1" x 2" piece of paper with rounded corners, along with the owl punch pieces. I really like Kevin's sparkly brown eyes. (That was done with Wink of Stella glitter clear pen - not brush tip.) And the Wink of Stella glitter silver pen was used around the eyes.

What do you think?
I will be posting Summer cards and my very first pocket letter soon.
Have a great week, everyone!
Please come back again!

Hello everyone!
Sorry for being gone for so long. A lot has happened since I posted here last. We have moved our family to Sioux Falls, SD, and are both finally working! Hubby is even changing to a new job with better hours in another week! I am working a full time job, as well a second job - part time at the local scrapbook store! (How lucky for me!!!)
We are really enjoying it so far, and can't wait for the trees to turn green and the flowers to all bloom!
I will be taking pictures of my new craft room to share with you soon. I am still organizing, and looking for what kind of table I will put in the middle of the room. Still need shelves installed in my craft studio closet, but all of this will come in time. (and with $$)
I thought I would show you what I have been playing with these past few weeks for fun for some of the girls at work...
