Next framed Julie Nutting doll for another co-corker:

I was able to deliver another framed piece to a different co-worker yesterday.
I think she's very happy with it.
It is for her craft room, which is pink and black with touches of gray.
She brought me the frame, which is from Ikea.

For this piece, I used the Prima Julie Nutting doll stamp Candie.
I stamped her onto the pale pink Prima tag stack, then colored her with Stampin' Up alcohol markers.

The paper for the background and the dress came from the Authentique Classique: Pretty 6 x 6 paper pad. I added a few round pink rhinestones on the upper right corner of the mat, under the glass.

Here she is a little closer. You can see more of the coloring and detail.
I added tiny pink bling stars for earrings, and a tiny pink round bling at her neckline.
Here, you can also see the tiny hand-tied bows in her hair and at her waist.

I also added some white crocheted cotton lace under the skirt, sleeves, and at the waist.

I really love the way she turned out, and the paper is gorgeous!

Thank you for stopping by! More to come this weekend!
Have a great day!

Time to start posting again!

Can't believe it's been close to a year that I've posted on my blog! I seriously need to keep this thing up! I've been working in my craft room again, when I find some time to myself. Family and working 2 jobs keeps me pretty busy.

Today I decided to work on this framed piece for a wonderful woman at work.
I love the frame she picked out for her bedroom. It had rounded/bubbled glass.
She told me the colors in her room, which were dark brown, cream, and teal.
I do hope she likes it. I will deliver it to her in the morning.

Today I used Julie Nutting's Audrey stamp.

The background paper is from a DCWV paper stack from my stash.
The papers I used for the dress are from the Prima Heaven Sent line.
I thought the colors complimented the background nicely.
I have colored her skin and hair with a combination of Stampin' Up & Prima alcohol markers.
For embellishments, I used a tiny bit of the same paper to make her a headband, then gave it some shimmer with Wink Of Stella Clear, which I also added to the flowers at her waist.
I also added a few Bitty Pearls from CTMH.
The ruffled ribbon at the bottom of her skirt is from Stampin' Up.

Here is the doll and background before putting under glass in the frame:

I hope you like her.

I will be posting more often, as I have a need to be creative, and really enjoy both the creativity, and the writing here.

Enjoy your day!
Teri :)
